Ashville man accused of killing cat with log

A Chautauqua County man killed a cat by striking it over the head with a log earlier this week, state police at Jamestown reported. Trooper Paul Anthony responded to a residence in North Harmony on Wednesday, after receiving information that Gregg Morrison, 34, of Ashville, had strangled a cat.
